Building a Zero

Old Tamiya kit, few parts, decent for the price.

Been using Vallejo Air brush colors on this and I really enjoyed working with them. Base colors are Vallejo white with Vallejo black pre shading.
The fuselag color are Tamiya sky grey with some green in.

Did not get him to look Japanese..

In all my time building models I've only built the old Monogram Zero back when I was a young teenager. I've heard really good things about these Tamiya Zeros and just as much on the newly released Eduard Zeros. Your example is very well built, painted and weathered.

I've got a few builds in front of me but will probably have a Zero build in my future after seeing this.

Thanks, those ”cheap” Tamiya kits are great. Corsair, Zero, Focke W. The A10 warthog is alright but the bombs and missiles need a lot of work.
