hi guys,
This is what im trying to cook up at the moment, a tamiya swordfish with the bracing set.
A couple of pics of of my effort of the last couple of days.
All sub assembly's are done, some detail painting is next.

All comment is ( and I can use some ;D) welcome!!!

Look good. The sanding on the underside ribs adds quite a bit.

Cool.
 
I think that looks great Zappa.
Decals and the weathering look good.
 
This is looking superb. What did you use for the wash and weathering in the panel lines and around them to get the nice brown look? It's really looking great - thanks for sharing!
 
Sorry, one more question - How did you like the Tamiya photo etch rigging? I've heard some people say they're a pain and refuse to stay tight - but yours are looking superb!
 
Yes they are a paint to work with (especially when you don't like PE... ;)).
It is hard to make them tight, i think the trick is to make the holes a little bit bigger ( with small drill bit), then what they call for on the drawing.
With that PE set they supply a little tool you're suppose to use to make the holes, but its a paint to work with.
I would use it again, it looks good in the end i think.

Ill take some more pics of the finished model later this week and post it.
