Tamiya Plastic Scribe II

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let ya know about this. The Scribe II from Tamiya I purchased for aircraft. Well after some use I found it hard to use on certain angles, skipping a basic lack of instructions (I figured with all the angles it had more than one use.).

After reading I found that they designed this specifically to be used on Gundam models. Although it doesn't state that on the package.

It's still a good tool and useful but just wanted to put that out there.

Those are great for scribing and snapping sheets of styrene but you'll have an easier time scribing detail with a different tool .
Where did you read it was developed for Gundam ?

I use mine on straight panel lines. For curved areas I use metal dental picks. I've had good results with these too.
