Tamiya Mosquito

This my latest project that just finished. It is the 1/48 scale Tamiya Mosquito Mk VI done up as a Coastal Command plane from 404 Sq. RCAF. I added a CMK resin cockpit set. When all closed up with the canopy on you really can't tell the difference. I used Ultacast drop tanks, and I also used their mud guards and tires. I really like Ultracast products. The decals are from Aviaeology. All comments are welcome.

My comment would be, great job! What did you use for the muddy tires?

I used Vallejo flat earth and used a small sponge to apply it.

I've been looking at this kit this week and I'm very tempted to purchase one.

How was the build? (typical tamiya, easy assembly, everything fits well)

Yeah the fit was typical Tamiya. The next one I build I am just going to use the aftermarket seats from Ultracast as you really can't see much of the detail set that I used. The Ultracst tires and mud guards are nice additions though.
