Built out if the box with Tamiya acrylics over Tamiya primer. Pre shaded the panel lines then lightened base coat to fade some individual panels. Used oil paints to fade the decals some. Forgot to add weight so it sat on its tail.. decided to make carrier landing vignette. Deck #’s are way out of scale. Great little build. Used no filler. Canopy is a little fiddly. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Super build and great save.
There so many of these ‘50’s era Navy
planes they could do. Missing a good
opportunity, in my opinion.
