Tamiya 1/350 CVN-65 Enterprise

Hey guys i think I scored big, i just picked up the Tamiya 1/350 CVN-65 Enterprise for 65 dollars. Im looking for any info you guys can offer on making this Monster. Im normally an 1/48 aircraft guy.

That's a HUGE score on that monster. Nice going.
Never tackled that one, myself. Wish I had the room for her.

Being Tamiya, though, she should be a good kit

Hey there eightfoot! 65 bucks!!! that's a STEAL!!! I'm in the middle of building that lovely beast! I used Gold Medal Models PE on her, along with their decal sets. Both for the ship and the airwing. The two biggest area's to watch out are the seams for the flightdeck and the seam on the hull. The hull seam is just a big gap to fill. The FD is being extra carefull with sanding. You'll see that the padeye circles are molded awful close to the seams. HTH! If there's more I can help with let me know.
