What brand paints are you using?
I am using Tamiya acrylic and enamel paints on this...I love there enamel paints for metal surfaces, its about the best, (in my opinion ;D) bar Alclade maybe.

Good morning gents.....
Small update today, did some small work on finishing off the gearbox and back suspention, unfortunatly, I have no photos of that, i will load some of those for the next update.

Last night I was wotking on finishing up the wheels and tires....
The instructions called for gold leaf but I was hoping to try something new on these and thought it might turn out to dark, so went with a lighter titanium gold....

So somewhere on this fourum or somwhere els ( cant remember ) I read about using X19 smoke to whether your wheels and give them a more aged metalic look, thought I would give it a bash....

Before...

After...

The difrence is subtele yet striking....I love it, think it came out just the way I wanted it!

and thats it for this round folkes...thanks for watching.

Stunning, no other word for it, the extra effort in the details is really making at engine pop. The rust effect is a great idea and well executed.

;D Thank you all for the kind words! This one is on the back burner for a bit as I have a few things I would like to finish for our MOY comp at the end of the month! Will finish it soon. Cheers!
