Great looking build! I plan on grabbing a LeMans car or MotoGP bike out of my stash after I finish my BSC builds. There's a good chance I'll be checking back here to find out where you got some of those sweet detail parts.

Wow that looks so so realistic with the metal and worn rubber on the tires! NICE!

Forgot I had this HO scale chain link fence material

So I took the under scoop part

And gently rubbed the screen into the cavity

Flattened out the edges

Trimmed off the excess

And installed over the intake trumpets

A little tweeking and a strip of BMF,..and weathered they will look ok I think
Thanks for looking in

Thanks Shark Thanks Q
I applied a strip around the bottom as a cinch

So, a couple of rain days
Started on the body panels

Much sanding, filling, sanding, ad nauseum...

Got the wing dry fitted to check lengths of hoses and wires

Now I can start on the paint,...as soon as I can find some Tamiya TS-55 and the gold...
I also need to figure out an attachment method for those side pod panels, I need to squeeze them with about 10lbs pressure to get them to close up to the top panel....
Anyway building on
Thanks for looking in

MORE!! MORE, MORE, MORE, MORE,MORE, MORE, MORE!! (with a rebel yell) You sir are an artist! This is the way I wish I could build again, but space not permitting, or materials. Inspiration isn't a problem, but rather space, and weather are keeping me at bay, so no painting as it's freezing outside where I am. Plus the weather is getting worse with freezing rain, and snow on the way. I hope that this doesn't just come to a sudden halt. I don't know what your painting schedule is, but I hope that this will be soon. Thank you for sharing professional quality builds with us.

So ya,..quite a bit more got done to this one over the years as well..

Beginning of decals over Duplicolor Sandable Primer,..and Tamiya TS-55 Dark Blue

Then the Decals Silvered ...because... because ...they are 40 yrs old...?

Always always always get new decals for your old kits,..!
So that's where I am now,..New decals ..just need to remove the old..an clean up the crap
