T34 on parade

Hey guys!
This is my contribution to "rumors of war".

I was inspired to build the T-34 because it was the tank of WW2 for the Russians, i'm making it "on parade" as in a pre-war demonstration of force

my build is inspired by this picture


Mine is the earlier version and i dont have figurines for it (yet)
here's what i got so far:











Funny thing...the old spice containers i use as jigs and what not screw right in the turret hole!


Primed, I've since sanded the smudge on the turret and started painting

Nice idea for a project
Might take a bit of sculpting to get the saluting figures but should look great when done

Here's an update, still needs a lot of touch up, a few detail pieces....and tracks!

Ordered some figurines too!

But i wanted to try my "Blind photo studio" 8)







Should be done this week sometime....too many projects on the go!
