Stripping paint from vinyl models .

Does anyone have any advice about stripping paint from vinyl models . I've had varying degrees of success at stripping styrene but so far when attempting to remove paint from vinyl , I've caused damage to the model . Any tips ? :-\

Have you tried rubbing alcohol? If you do just do a small portion as a test. This works on the pre-painted plastic kits. I'm guessing the paint may be the same. A slightly corrosive cleaner like purple power might strip it too. Be careful.
