Lol, I guess that more like the second option

However, since this is a kind of "refit" hammerhead, I might be able easyly to say, that it has been made longer (whider, higher, shorter e.t.c) during the upgrade, to fit it into some common scale (most likely 1/670 - like for ex. the revell's Star Trek Voyager (the original Endar Spire was actually a pretty big ship)

Anyway, I would be able to answer for shure a bit latter ;D
