Yup. Tried rigging one a few months ago. Ended up binning the dang kit. LOL!

I do have a couple biplane kits in my stash - 1/48 scale Revell Stearman and 1/32 scale Academy(?) Sopwith Camel kit. I don't mind tackling rigging a biplane since I do like a challenge. I used black thread for the 1/72 biplane and it doesn't look right. Next time I'll invest on EZ Line for my biplane kits. Oh yeah… rigging anchor points for biplanes will be a definite investment too.

I have watched YouTube videos on how to make your own, I've experimented in doing so and they looked okay but a bit too large to me. Maybe I'm using the wrong wire size. I don't know. Oh well, can't say I didn't try. It was an education and is doable. I'll make my own for the Stearman in a future build.
