Hello,

I just started modeling again, and I am having a hell of a time finding places online to buy helicopter models and resin/photo etched parts for them. I have visited several websites, but I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions as to where I can go to find what I am looking for. Thank you in advance for any info.

My favorite and really only one I order from these days ,
excellent selection and customer service - been ordering from them from well over a decade :

Or , and I haven't ordered from them in several years , but you can find stuff you can't find stateside :

Thank you, brother. I will check them out right now. The biggest issue I am having is things are discontinued. Makes it difficult to find what I need

Welcome to the Herd, Jedit! Yeah, that issue is something you'll find, regardless of the seller, except for those who specialize in old or discontinued kits.

As far as vendors of currently available kits go:

Sprue Brothers is good, https://spruebrothers.com/, with a good reputation and popular among modelers

Freetime Hobbies is another online vendor that I can recommend, https://freetimehobbies.com/

AAA Hobbies/MegaHobby is another good retailer. MegaHobby, https://www.megahobby.com/, is the online store, and AAA ("Triple A"), https://www.aaahobbiesandcrafts.com/, is the bricks-and-mortar retail location in Magnolia NJ.

Scale Model Graveyard, https://www.scalemodelgraveyard.com/, is an online marketplace, where you can buy and sell. It's worth looking for discontinued items there.

I'm sure others will have good suggestions for you, too.

Best regards,
Brad
