Check this out...open source plastic object creation! Hopefully they won't become self aware and turn into a full scale virus...

I may have to make one of these things...endless possibilities for scratch building anything you can think of.

Kinda takes out the fun of scratch building? lol But... sure as heck would make Warhammer practically cheap! lol
 
careful, workshop still likes to play lawyerhammer , its there favorite game. Although a CNC machine in every home work shop. madness.

As if you think WG scares me? :) Besides, if you think they can try to lawyerflank me JUST for talking about it, I got a lawyerunit in hiding over yonder in a lance formation waiting to ride them back down.

I think I've been looking at these Warhammer stuff too long for the past few days now. o_O

You'd still have to design whatever you are 'printing' in CAD or some other design software, so you'd need to be somewhat creative...virtually.
 
I wonder how it compares to the Carvewright I have a good friend that bought one, but his scanning head and plastic tools have not arrive yet. I know the carvewright will work wood, and plastic. but not hard metals.
