Hi everyone.
I've been watching a lot of the vids on you tube and thought it might be easer to go straight to the source so to speak and see them all in one location.
My name is John Ashby, I live in Brisbane Queensland Australia. Been modeling since I was a wee bairn and my Dad introduced my to my frst Spitfire. My modeling has been on and off over the past 20 years due to the Army but now that I am being medically discharged I'll have more time. Served one tour each in East Timor(1999-2000 ont he M113A1), Iraq(2007-2008 on the ASLAV)and Afghanistan(2009-2010 on the Bushmaster PMV). My preferred topic is post WW2 armoured vehicles inparticular the M113 FOV. Currently I'm working on a Tamiya M4A3, Willys Jeep MB and a Dragon M2/M2A1 for a diorama. It's the first time I have delved into WW2 topics and it is proving an interesting challenge.
So thats me. Im looking forward to learning more from everyone here. Cheers, John
