Well, theres been another change of plans...
Having had a closer look at the F-14 I've decided to put it away for a while. The kit itself is ok, but it's got raised panel-lines which I'm itching to re-scribe. But, having lots of other stuff to paint right now, that has to wait for a little while.
Thankfully, the same shop had another Revell kit..
Interestingly, it turns out that this is actually a high altitude aircraft from the Korean War, not a World War II version. Ah well, live and learn...
Having had a quick look at the contents of the box I'm somewhat happy with it. The detail isn't too great, but then again: I didn't expect that in a 1:72 scale kit. One complaint though, is the lack of a pilot. Would have liked to have that. And those fins under the wings are for rockets, right? If so, then they're missing as well...
