Hi all,

i though id leave my comfort zone to try a subject that has always grabbed my attention ever scine i saw Tora Tora Tora ! many years ago (have on dvd now )... that is the raid on pearl harbor. the more books i read on the raid the more im fasinated by the human story and the epic journey under taken by a carrier task force (with 6 carriers in its core !) across the worlds largest ocean to catch the US Navy and Airforce completely by surprise... a seemly impossible acheivement. So i decided to have a go trying to build one of the iconic machines of that raid........the Zero

while in my local art/hobby shop i came arcoss Airfix's new zero and new i had to have it !
i always i like to support airfix as my first model (nearly 13yrs ago) was a Airfix spitfire mk 1 LOL
And they have come a very long way in the last few months turning out some lovely little kits. there Zero is no expection ;D

cracking open the box you will find four meduim spures in grey plastic, a small decal sheet, clear spure and instuctions

the model has some lovely engraved detail, flash free parts, only the odd injection mark here or there, but these are confined to the cockpitt
