Name of Build: Post-war Mercedes L4500R
Kit manufacturer: Revell + Voyager
Scale: 1/35
Description
This is a Revell kit with Voyager PE, after long thinking I decided to finish it as a post-was civil truck used for coal transport.
The main paintwork was done with Tamiya acrylics and combination of salt and hair spray for chipping. This is a great way to do multi-layer paint damage, in my case replicating re-painting of the vehicle. The cargo is done with a piece of styrofoam and coal from aquarium filters fixed with the help of white glue (black pigment was added to glue to make it "black glue"). The license plate is made based on the post-war reference images and with the help of license plate decals set from Alliance Model Works. Final dust effects were done with Tamiya buff enamel.
