Decided to do another Star Trek build.
This time, I'm doing the 1/2500 scale USS Discovery from Polar Lights.
Like with the Enterprise kit, there are plenty of pieces to work with
As well as full aztecs
For the clear parts, I painted a base coat of white on the areas that would show, followed by either transparent red or blue, depending.
The saucer domes stayed white, while the metallic parts of the bussards and navigational deflector were painted in with Citadel's Leadbelcher
Initial assembly was finished fairy quickly in sub-assemblies, although the instructions did swap the part numbers for the impulse engine inserts (that, or I did)
