Photo Review MiniArt 35188 British Tank Riders (NW Europe)

MiniArt has been releasing some wonderful figure sets. This one is a perfect release for their own Valentine series or any of the new British AFV releases. It is designed for North West Europe and the clothing is temperate so avoid Winter scenes. The wonderful painting by A. Karashyuk graces the box.


The rear serves as an assembly and painting guide. Paint suggestions are given.




No numbers are cast on the sprues to identify parts. However, there is an insert in the box with a parts map.

As one can see, the sculptor has not recreated Karashyuk's painting exactly. While the poses are the same, the faces are not. However, this is not a bad thing as the sculptor has not fallen to the vice of giving all the figures the same face. Each has its won character and, thanks to not being 'fashion model' perfect, far more realistic.

















This is an excellent set which will reward the painter with some unique characters.

looks like a fair bit of clean up on that set, but they are cool looking, i love the tash.
