Hey guys finally got one of these awesome kits! picked it up from Elm City Hobbies! and got started on it right away.

so far i got the roll bars all glued up. just need a bit of sanding.
also got the front suspension fixed up. i thought the front tires stuck out way to much, so a simple fix for this is to use some AMT wheel backs and they pull the tire in a lot!

i also thinned out the body and got the front and rear valance panels or whatever you call em glued in, and on the rear you need to fill in the extra panel line that it makes!

That's coming along quite nicely. Look forward to seeing the progress on this.

I got some Petty blue on the chassis, obviously i still have to do all the detail painting on it!
I also installed the motor, I built the motor completely box stock and only did paint detail on it.

did a bit more work,

bent up some new exhaust pipes. did a bit of weathering on the chassis. and started to detail paint some suspension parts.

I finished detail painting the wheels, adding the lug nuts etc and a little weathering on them.

I added the mesh screen over the grill. i used a tea bag for it.

this green tea comes in a silk tea bag and is perfect size mesh material!

i got all the parts stuck to the chassis now!
just gotta finish up the body, hope to be finished in a few days. stay tuned!
