Have not posted on here for a while and wanted to share my completed Peterbilt Revell kit. I may have not commented on some of the builds on the site cause sometimes I don't when just lurking and not throwing models up my self. But must say some of the builds I see on here are inspirational!!!.. I travel a lot for work and began to really look at all the trucks on the road and thought it would be cool to build a big rig.

Modifications to the model, cut the sleeper off and made a back wall. I also made a scratch chain holder and scratch made the grill. Also stripped all the chrome and painted everything. One other mod was to create my own stacks or pipes from brass.. I am currently waiting for some chain I purchased on Ebay from Poland which is taking a while to ship. This chain will be added to the chain rack. Another change was to the bumper adding about 1/4 inch. Here is what I've done and most importantly it was a lot of fun.. I toned the mud down on the door a bit after taking the pics..

Enjoy!!

Thanks for taking a look and the comments. I'm unsure what to start next but know that someday I want to pick this up. http://www.amazon.com/Revell-Germany-Kenworth-Truck-Plastic/dp/B0073XSVGM
