Paint Turns Out Flat

Here's my setup. I'm using a 25 gallon shop compressor hooked to a Harbor Freight regulator with moisture trap (small one) and then to a Badger Patriot 105 airbrush. Pressure is set on about 15-20 PSI. I'm painting a BRE Datsun 510 which is a 2 tone paint job (red and white). Paint is mixed at 2 parts paint to one part Testors enamel thinner. I'm shooting Model Master Insignia Red and Model Master white. When I applied the white paint, it came out fine, nice and shiny. When I applied the red paint for the other parts of the body, it came out flat (no gloss). Anyone have any idea why?

Hmmm. I have no experience with that brand...wish I could help. I'm sure someone knows why....

Maybe it's your ratio. You said you're "Paint is mixed at 2 parts paint to one part Testors enamel thinner"

Just googled this:
Mixture ratio: Gloss; 3 parts paint to 2 parts thinner. Flat; 3 parts paint to 1 part thinner
