Paint brushes

Are you asking about the best bristle material for acrylics ?
Definitely synthetic .
Get a soft bristle Like Taklon for doing work that needs to be extra smooth , but any soft nylon or other polyester brush .
You don't need to spend a fortune -- cleaning them after each use is more important .
Get a bottle of cleaner / restorer made for synthetic brushes and keep them clean .

Use the largest width brush possible for the area being painted .
You'll be better off adding a flow improver , like Liquitex Flow Aid but there's multiple brands , since you're going for an automotive finish that should be as smooth as possible .
A retarder may be necessary but probably not . a little goes a really long way .
