P 51D Mustang.

In progress, Revell P 51 Mustang in 1/72 scale. This kit is easy to build and i am a rookie in this hobby so i bought it, but its not the best fit on the modell parts i have worked with so far.I made the guns by scratch.

Great start on the Mustang.
I was just wondering, are you going to trim back the machine gun barrels? I think that D Mustang MG barrels didn't extend much past the leading edge of the wing, see the image below. Looks cool if you leave them long also...
