New build is the OV-10A Bronco.
Desk is cleaned and organized. Ready to go.

Look forward to seeing how it goes. I need to add one of those to my stash.

Made some progress on the cockpit today.

Getting the props painted and trying to find a particularly small piece I dropped on the carpet.

Update on this build.
I just started putting on decals and dropped this model. It exploded into about 50 pieces. Attempted to glue back together but it was too far gone. Ended up in the trash.
I will pull a different model from my stash and start again.
I may get another OV-10A at some point but not yet.

Musta been a pretty good fall since it only had 30 pieces to start with! Ah! At the decal or finish painting stage is where it usually happens for me too, so I understand exactly the heart sinking feeling associated with this post. Although mine should have been thrown in the trash after such an event, inevitably, I usually salvage it... no matter how that ends up. I have planes that ended up cars, and cars that ended up as... I don't know, but certainly not the 1970 Chevelle there were suppose to be. I stick things back together and then display that just as proudly as the rare instance one turned out just like it was suppose to.

Pat on the back there buddy. You'll get 'em next time.

Rob.

Thanks Rob. It is disheartening to go through the work and then end up not completing it. It’s not the first nor the last (fingers crossed) that will end up in the trash.
My F4U-1A Corsair ended there as well. I have since bought another kit for that one.
