Debating on my next build project. I have narrowed it down to between two kits.
PBY-5A Catalina “Black Cat”
Or
B-24 Liberator
Both in 1:48
I am entertaining any thoughts from the forum.

Looking at the kits, I realize the PBY-5A is 1:72 and B-24 is 1:48
Since I have yet to build an Academy kit I have decided to built the PBY-5A

After I am done with the PBY-5A Catalina “Black Cat”. I will be doing the Tamiya 1/350 USS Missouri.
I have wanted to do this build for a while but wanted to get some practice before taking it on. This build will be prominently displayed in a case.

I have always wanted to build a PBY-5A Catalina since the original "Midway" movie in the 70's. It was the first movie in the theaters with Surround Sound. I am going to watch the thread build closely and see how it goes for you. The PBY could very well be my next build.

I am still waiting for my USS Missouri paint colors from Scale Colors. I want to paint the battleship in Measure 22 paint scheme.
While I wait I will be building the Moebius 1/25 Dawn of Justice Batmobile

After the Batmobile is completed, I am getting lined up to build the Revell 1/48 B-24D Liberator.
Still have not received the paint for the USS Missouri build.
