Forgive me if its been mentioned before, a fellow member at ARC and also Britmodeller got his new 1/72 Airfix Mustang today, and it looks like a real gem. A couple of surprises for me are the correct depth wheel wells, and positionable flaps and rudder. Nice interior detail too. And best of all, the price looks quite reasonable, you could probably by 2 of these for the price of 1 Tamiya or Hasegawa 72nd scale Pony.

Probably more than that, I don't recall what the Tamiya and Hasegawa ones go for, but the Airfix one should be sub $15.

Airfix kits have come along way in quality in the last few years, this one should be no exception.
 
Nice work on this post Carsenault. The pics show very nice detail for a 72 scale kit. They did a nice job on the pilot and the panel lines too.
