Time for a new project! The kindly folks at Icaerodesign approached to review and build their recent conversion set that allows one to build a Romanian version of the famous MiG fighter. They gave me an Eduard "overtrees" kit, their resin conversion and and an extra baggie of resin treats. In case you missed my review, you can see it here: or here. Let's kick this off!

I hope to start on my Czech MiG-21MFN this week, but it won't be anywhere as nice nor as detailed as yours.

Nice new project, Chuck! I was wondering what you were up to lately. I saw that you've got a figure in progress, too--the Goon, not the girls, I mean. You've been busy!

Thanks, guys! Baron- that Goon Sculpt should be available soo.

Friends, life has been really busy as of late- but good things are coming. This may be my last update for a couple of months- we'll have to see what happens. In the meantime, Kapitain Andreea is back to show you the latest. Cheers!

Thanks, guys! I've been MIA as moved pulled up stakes and moved from sunny LA to crisp and cool Whidbey Island, Washington! As for the MiG, it's headed this way in a Pod, and should be over in Everett on the 1st. Then it's just a matter of getting a local moving company to bring the contents here. I'm absolutely jonesing to get back to it! Something interesting is also headed my way from Romania, so stay tuned for a new review featuring Kapitan Andreaa!

Thanks for your patience, guys! Sunsanvil, I'll have to look that model number up. Great light!

Kapitan Andrea and I are back in gear! The move went well, and we're adapting to our new lives in a new home and anew place. I won't say it was entirely easy, but we've persevered. I was able to get back to the bench in early December, but this is the first time I've been ready to post again- read on!
