I've been working on this off and on for a few months now. It's my second model (first armor kit) and the first one that I've painted with an airbrush. Still got some work to do, but I'm learning a lot. Let me know what you guys think thus far.

For those of you wondering it's the Academy kit.

Does anyone know what these are? I can't seem to find them anywhere on the instructions. I've already located the idlers and sprockets, but can't for the life of me figure out what these are. Sorry for the bad resolution.

I've done some more work on this, but can't seem to get the vinyl tracks to fit. The tracks are just too short. Does anyone have any recommendations for this? Do I have to buy aftermarket to remedy this?

Possibly the sprue shots are just spare parts that aren't utilized on your particular build.
There should be a, do not use these parts section, at the front of instruction sheet.

Tracks - Flick Academy an email about your fit issue. They just might send you another
set, that's if youre feelin lucky ;) Or see if you can get some thru the buy, sell, trade
thread.

Thanks!

The parts are actually not on the instructions as "not used". I've gone over the instructions time and time again and don't seem the part number anywhere. Oh well, guess they'll just end up in my spare box.

I was actually able to get the tracks onto my APC. Right now I'm letting it sit there to "train" the vinyl into that position before I start painting it.

Almost done with this model. I'm looking forward to being done because I have learned a LOT since I started working on this and can't wait to utilize that knowledge towards my next project(s).

Did some weathering on this and I dare say it's done, unless someone sees a glaring omission. Let me know what you guys think. I may have gone a bit overboard with the mud.

Great job! You might try using a lighter background to show off your finished work. ;)
