I think it's labelled as "non scale" but I notice that scale seems to be greatly misunderstood throughout the toy and model industries. As a scientific fact: Everything that is a proportional representation of something else has a scale to that thing. Funko Pop, Nedoroid, etc. are non scale, because they are distorted stylizations of their subject (the head is one scale, the body a different one). But a kit like this, if it's the same size and proportion as a 1/144...well then obviously it's 1/144 whether the company declares it or not.
p.s. Don't get me started on "American 1/12 scale" (a.k.a. 7" scale) action figures! It's called 1/10th scale. It exists. Accept it!
