My automotive entry: 1949 Mercury

Here is a progress report on the Mercury guys. I added some fender skirts and applied some resin rivets:

I used a Testor's Metalizer Laquer for my primer coat:

Pre-shading has been applied and it's ready for the base coat of paint:

I see that the Mercury is headed off in a different direction than just a straight up car build...

Great work on the engine,i like the colour of first coat of paint too.

It looks great!
Probably one can't see too much of the interior, but it it looks a tad bit clean compared to the exterior.
a pile of empty beer cans on the floor would do nicely. ;D

Yea, the interior is a little clean. It can't be seen at all in person. Love the beer can idea. ;D
