Here is a biiiiiig resin kit.
Don't really know what scale it is, 1/72 ? 1/60 ? Or even 1/100 ?
In fact it's a gift from an association, at Dijon, that wanted me to have it. The bought it 4 years ago, thinking it could be cool if everybody participate in the painting and the building of it. The painting was "freestyle" so it was, in fact A BIG MESS ! Even though the resin kit is obviously a recast (they didn't know about it) it was never meant to be built that way.

The kit or how it should look like.

What i've been given...

Argl ! Here the parts were already in the way of cleaning with pure acetone bath. Some parts have been painted (it's huge so I used some new Acrylic paint from Revell, to see what they can do...).

I choose some colors like the Jegan, light blue, instead of light or dark grey.

The head had vacuuformed camera and so has some of the parts on this mecha : chest, pelvis, weapons... SOme have to be replaced since it was glued without respect with pack of cyano... Plus I need to paint the interior.
Ther's work all right... :(

The fun part ? I don't have any instructions, some parts are broken, the all thing need to be cleaned up, sanded, since the parts weren't even prepared properly.

So it's kinda challenge that I humbly presented to you, in this Gundam Group Build. :)
COncerning the resuming of the building, that will wait, though, for my return in Paris in 5 weeks. Sorry about that... Don't have any Gundam model kits with me in the Pyrenees mountains. :)

Yep !

It's a big challenge but the kind I like since it can't be worst than it was before I accepted the "gift". :)

Plus, it's a BIIIIIIIG resin kit, the kind you can't throw away because of some crazy glue and cray paint... Man, evn a bootleg, just check the prices. :)

It is always fun to watch someone re-furbish a kit. I will be watching this one!

How many you got anyway!!! Nice to recycle!! Looking froward to this one too!!

(just look at my signature... I have to update it since someone gave me half a dozen 1/100 wing gundam, built, no paint, lately... so it's more like 2215 now... Around 1700 without counting the doubles :) )

Oh My!!! Not sure I should ask what you Dispaly cabinets look like!! ::)

Don't have any. Not enough space. Everything built is in packages, they are displayed for special occasion, fortunatly I've got a lot of convention and festival that invite me in a regular fashion.

It's cosy, V.I.P. sometimes, like with INTEL and its "Geek so in" party.

La soirée GEEK SO IN 2010 : La Delorean de Retour vers le futur à Paris

(The kitbash part with a Millenium Falcon)

It's crowed with 50.000 to 60.000 visitors in 4 days like with Japan Expo / Comic Con expo in July.

Anigetter's Stand @Japan Expo 2010
(at 1:20, that's what I've moved for this convention...)

Stand AniGetter/Passion Garage Kit
(here all the starships and part of the robots - some are posted here - are mine :) )

Japan Expo 2011 : Stand Anigetter
(from 2:50 to 3:06 it's all mine too with turning display stands very useful to let people see all the kit - and most of the time won't go for touching anything !)

All in all, I've got 5 to 10 exhibitions a year, minimum, this year was the perfect opportunity to do something about the 30th anniversary of MACROSS (I presented Mr Haruhiko Mikimoto to the public, I'me a conference man, and a specialist about Anime and Robots in France) with a lot of kits and toys issued from the Macross / Robotech saga.

I presented some pictures here :

Bad news everyone.

Like John would say "life goes on the way". I'm way too busy to do anything about my kits for the time being.
I've got missions (job as a journalist), and a moving to the South of France to handle.

I'm afraid that I can't build or resume my projects before several months, once I'll be settle down, since the new house need some rough modifications and a lot of care to be able to welcome all my stuff.

But no worry, in 2013 I'll be back with a looooooot to share with you guys ! :D
