Moontrap(robot/cyborg thing) Finished.

Hello everyone.

For my second entry into this awesome contest i will be scratchbuilding this freaky looking robot/cyborg from the 1989 movie moontrap.Bruce campbell's in it.

A little bit started last night,the armour on the body looks a little weird because i'm using clear plastic as it's easy to bend,also added the pipe.
It will look better when it's painted .

Yes! that is rocking cool man.
I love how you scratch build, It's very much like free sculpting with reference.
Can i offer one sugestion/tip for you you should use solder wire inside of your springs.
It adds additional realism and i know thats what your after. Also a small gauge insulated copper wire bent in half works good as well. This will also help with shaping as too.

Maknifiso:Cheers yeah i didnt have or couldnt find anything big enough to put through the middle,it's some left over spring from the 1/6 safs, what i have done tonight is i simple filled it in and it's lookin nifty.
I'll show some pics tomorrow.

great paint up! and Super Spiffy base on this one, Looks very, very nice.
Now shoot it with a nice dark spooky background
