Hi All,
You'll have to forgive me as I'm an utter novice. In my typical 'rush in first, ask questions later' attitude towards life, I went and bought a Bandai Millennium Falcon without giving much though to how I was going to paint it.
To cut a long story short I really don't want to have to pony up for a compressor and airbrush in order to get a perfect match on the base colour, especially considering this will probably be a one off for me. Does anyone have any advise on what would be a reasonable match using a spray can?
I'm planning to do most of the weathering with a dry brush and damp pastels, but I'm really stuck with the base coat. I'm assuming the sub $100 el cheapo compressors and airbrushes are as bad as they are cheap?
