Been working this one for a while and was not happy with it. Until I finally got a break and fixed it up to the point I'm ready to show you guys. Built from a painting I saw of a Ralph McQuarrie A-wing. Gotta love Ralph's concept art.

Here are some pics of my scratchy progress.

That is a cool looking start! Will you be adding lights?

I should have planned for that in the beginning, but sadly no. When I started this thing it was supposed to be a quick 2 day build to clear my mind. Then it evolved into a total project.

Done with everything but the laser cannons. Decided to prime in black. Will be airbrushing an extremely light shade of grey tomorrow.

Really liking the panel lines and small details. That looks great in primer!

Not to be pushy, but are there any updates? This looks great, and it's one of my favourite models since I was a kid, and it still is. I wish someone would make a full scale version that you could drive down the street! That would be cool, and it would make the ultimate party favour. Just imagine all the drunks at the party wanting to drive this! :p Not that I would let them, but it would be great conversation piece.

Here ya go. Not much though. Just some white and blue acrylics. Need to do some touch ups and then start weathering. Oh, and build some cannons and the cockpit.
