These figs are looking great, Shark! I see the subtle blues coming through very well. Ruck On, they're looking great.
I may be late to the conversation on matt varnishes, but I recently had to rethink my matt coats from Testors rattle can to Tamiya Flatt Clear, XF-86, 50/50 with X-20A thinner in the airbrush. After testing Mr. Color GX113 and Tamiya brands, Tamiya takes the cake, airbrushed or painted. Tamiya was just so much easier to use and the finish was dead flat. If you need to add a slight sheen in any location, just take a q-tip, rub your nose, and apply. Ya, that sounds strange, but it works, just like finger grease will leave a slight sheen.
Also, mixing with a tooth pick works just fine, but I just rolled the bottle on the desk back and forth, good enough of a mix to do the job well.
Ruck On, looking good!
