Will post pictures in a bit. This is a Trumpeter model and I'm adding the Voyager Models photo etch, Tank Workshop resin wheels, Industrial Mechanika figures as the operators, and some alien something as the cargo.

Managed to get the chassis fairly complete over the weekend. The nice thing with this kit is a lot of the mould seam lines and EPMs get covered by other parts so far.

The anticipation!!! Seriously, looking forward to see this. sounds awsome. Thanx :)

Haha, I wish I was teasing. I'm afraid all the “hype” might be a bit of a let down. :)
Okay, pic time.

Baggy of third party PE:

– not gonna lie, the included PE + the Voyager PE really put me off. I really hate working with PE and the Voyager instructions had a lot of rivet counting and hyper detailing. But, I purchased one of those 8" Hold & Fold PE brakes from The Small Shop and working with PE turns out to be not so bad anymore.

– I'm also leaving all the original rivets on — even though they're apparently wrong according to Voyager — as I want lots of bits where I can have rust and grime streaking from.

Thanks for looking!
Sorry for the completely horrible photos.

Killer start man. All that PE might be a headache but it's sooooo worth it in the end...

Thanks dude! Yeah, really happy with how the PE is looking. I'm hoping to get some primer and some colours on the chassis tonight, the floor of the cabin is glued in yet so I can get some paint under it.

Added the remaining bits that attach to the chassis and first coat of primer down. Used Vallejo's German Red Brown. There's not to many spots that require clean up fortunately. Still, there's enough clean up to keep me busy until the weekend.

Assembled the cargo bed. Also sanded down a bunch of horrible seams on the chassis. I need to replace all my glues. Gonna stock pile the Tamiya jars with brush applicators. Currently using BSI dropper bottles. No longer cutting it.

Also, just got the Tank Workshop resin wheels in. They're really nice. Only a bit of flash & clean up, but that'll be on the bottom touching the ground that I'll eventually make for it. So, completely out of the way.

Hello. Thought I disappeared eh? Yeah me too. I'm a bit further behind than I want to be but still manageable.

Just have to weather up the wheels as well and they're done. They were really annoying. I washed them real good, sprayed them with dull coat before even priming. Masked the hubs off to spray the steel bits, when I pulled the taped off:

Yeah. Super frustrating. Oh well, they're painted and sprayed with many many layers of varnish now. Hopefully that'll keep the paint down. On to the next bit.

Cheers all!

Currently assembling a bunch of various parts on the truck, will have photos of them maybe tonight. I got the crew in the mail this week. I'm using the Porpoise Shock Troopers from Industria Mechanika. Technically they're for the awesome Walrus APC. But, I've assembled primed and then did a quick pre-shade.

I've decided that this truck will be on some icy planet. Pluto, Enceladus, or Europa.

—annoyingly the guy on the far right has two left feet. I was wondering why his leg looked weird, but that's why. I'm not gonna try fixing it, I'll just make him stand in some deeper snow or something.

Cheers.

2 left feet..LMAO!! Looks awsome,,guess that explains why he couldn't dance! LOL,,seriously thoe, the figs look awsome..Luv the direction your going!! :)
