July 20, 1969: The Eagle Has Landed

It was a momentous achievement. All the calculations were done by hand. The percision that those calculations had to have was extraordinary. If some of them were off just a little bit, there is no way that they mission would have succeeded.

Tolerances in the space craft design, plotting orbits, fuel weight calculations. It just boggles the mind....
 
Well, I think they got to the moon by pure luck.
Considering that the computers onboard this ship had less computing powed than the one in a Casio watch.
