JPG 1/72 E-wing

Here is my entry for this year!

This is the 1/72 from JPG Production. This is an old kit, with great details! With this size, this is going to be a nice model!

I only have until the end of this month to end this model, so it will be a big run!

After that moment, we will be moving in our new home and it will be not possible for me to end it...
I was planing to do a out of the box assembly, but there are some details I want to change!

So, here is the kit:

I have made new guns using brass tubes and rods:

I will mak a new pilot using an hasegawa one and the head and chest from the resin one:

And let the assembly begin!

The next steps are going to be the install of the engines and guns, the painting of the cockpit and convering the canopy.

thanks guys, here are yesterday's moves!

spent one hour on the pilote, and glued the laserguns:

Added a brass rod each side to increase the rigidity of the assembly:

the yellow lens is made using tamiya Gold leaf (X-12)

Saddly, I will not been able to end that project in time...
We begin the moving in our next home on next week-end and I need too much time to get everything ready for it...

Here is where I am:

Painted the inside of the canopy and glued it in place. Also did the assembly of the guns.

Then, white base coat and preshading
