Ohh yeah :)
This is going to be fun. By the way I don't know why but this bust always reminded me of Hałabała :)

For face used Gunze mr color hull red 29 and mixed hull red 29 + yellow 313

For uniform mixed Gunze mr color Dark Green 23 , middle stone 21 and sandy yellow 39

Next step for the skin tones : first shadows - mixed Talens artistic oils - raw umber and burnt sienna :

You're coming right along with this fellow! His weathered face is really standing out with your colors. He is going to look very menacing! :)

How long is it taking for your oils to dry?

Thanks!

Les oil paint should dry a few days. But there are some ways to speed up the process;)
But I try as much as possible to use these colors if it is not dried until the end. If I decide sprayed of the varnish is just wait a few hours to paint
and sprayed with a thin layer gently several times with an airbrush.

I use this 3 types of coatings, such as in the picture. Depending on what effect I want to get. The first two Talens allow us to obtain greater transparency of colors and can dry a little longer. Testors paint will give us a larger mat.

If the varnish is dry you can apply the fix. Applying then I paint diluted white spirit, turpentine and linseed oil even better.

Another bunch of photos ... I approach the end of a painting. Now gonna put a bust for a day to dry and then I put the fixes.

I hope that helped a little... ;)

Awesome job on this guy! I've always had difficulty doing figures/busts... but you make it look effortless!
