Build the frame out of styrene rod .

Easiest way is to draw it out and lay that under some translucent parchment paper , wax paper or tracing paper held taught so you can see the drawing ( tape / thumbtacks ), then glue it up over that layout using thin solvent cement .

Add one of those PE mesh to the inside , bonded with super glue .
