hi all
had this on the shelf in primer for a good while ,and as i was looking for somit to practice on with big steel plates, for that Jadgtiger in the stash i taught id refresh this and seehow it goes.

Its otb build except for grills on engine deck, and ive since resurfaced the plates with some humbrol filler and cellulose, ill also be using the kit band tracks :-[.

Nice job!! I like the camo too!! ;D Tough having to use the bandies but take your time and work them and they can come out really nice. I know Ken Abrams has done a few with bandies and you would never know! Keep the weathering coming!!! ;)

nice camo and weathering! the Jagdpanther has always been a favorite, just havent a kit to my stash yet!

Hi lads
Bit of an update on this one, got the tracks on sprayed wit my mud color then dry brushed raised parts wit a metal color.
The steel rod going across the chassis is keeping the tracks pressed down to give that sagged look, not sure yet as to put on or leave off the side skirts , if i leave them off i can hide the rod with some mud :-\IMGP1052_zpsf47fed12.jpgIMGP1053_zps0f8e5fc4.jpgIMGP1055_zps21648338.jpg

That first picture scared me there for a second ;D but she looks awesome with her cloths on...Nice paint job too ;)

Admirable work indeed. You've really made it look like it's made of metal. How did you simulate the paint chipping?

Thanks for the kind comments lads, calling this pretty much done now except for the periscopes to paint, and 1-2 other bits that showed up in the pics :-[.
Few pics
