anyone had it before? jackfuit, i call it a bananamellon, is AWESOME! it has a weird thick stringy texture but its after taste is almost exactly like a banana, just love... it!

Yes, its common in our country buds, it got a tweeky smell but it taste good, especially when it mix it with coco jelly, beans, red beans, leche flan, coco jelly and fresh strips of coconut fruit mix together with a crush Ice. is a common delicacy in summer months. and we call it Langka in our native language.
