iraq and afganistan

whats the best colors for these types of terrain i have used several diff colors with mixed results! and how about the terrain its self i have always used acrylic paste for the base with sand and some smashed rock is this about right?

Mig do pigments for Iraq have a look at that see if its any good

Vallejo also do an Iraq color Sand paint 819 is the number

thanks ill look into those vallejo paints, the mig pigments i use now is beach sand, gulf war sand, and a little vietnam earth

came across this today it may help in your ground work. its in french but you get the idea, there about 30 mins each.
