Well... time for another built. Trying to unclutter the workbench a bit. I was already working on this vehicle before the All PE Tie Interceptor and the SdKfz 234 with Flakdrilling. In fact it got started shortly after the Pak43 as it was the planning that it was going to end up in the same dio. But as always I revised my plans and made the dio smaller focusing more on the gun. So the L1500 will end up as a standalone vehicle.

The kit itself is very impressive. Lots of nice details and actually matching up with the real deal as well. However with the instructions they probably went to the DML school of instructionsheet screw ups. Very unclear and cluttered drawings. Part numbers wrong. Etc. etc. You really have to study steps forward to see which part goes where.

I kinda forgot how big these vehicles were. Couple of years ago I have been around a vehicle like this at an event and had I not seen it before in real life I'd never believed that it was an 1:35 kit.

And then it was up to the primer

Now comes the fun part. Bringing it to life. It will be an NSKK Drivingschool vehicle that is quickly pushed into service for the Battle of Berlin as an Ammo/Panzerfaust carrier.

More to come soon. I want to get some half finished's off the bench.

Great job, lookin' forward... I've just done resin radiator cover for that kit.

cheers

Thanks for the compliments. It is a fun little kit.
I also saw on your ebay site you have a radiator cover for the admiral. Might be tempted to get one of those as I have an admiral but not a clue what I'm going to do with it. What is the price in euro's for that item. Your ebay site showed the in zloty (spelling?) and I don't know the exchange rate.

I've put in USD on ebay, on my site is price too: 3,99 euro + shipping. Now I constructing +20 new covers 8)

Hmmm weird. Got the price in zloty somehow. But thanks for the price in euro. Will put it on the to buy in the near future list.

Thank you sir. It is a pretty sweet kit. That figure was 1 of a few that I bought at an event some months ago. First figures I saw with luftschutz helmets. No clue about the manufacturer. They were second hand

I didn't see this one till I looked over Mike's kit review. Beauty Brother, I'll be watchin this part take shape.

Cheers, Ski.

Thanks for the compliments. And to answer your questions regarding how it is coming along. I'm sad to report that it took a nosedive from the bookcase I temporarily stored it on. And needless to say it was in a 1000 pieces. Which is roughly 800 pieces more then what the kit originally consisted of. It was not repairable so I binned it.

I am kinda unlucky lately with kits. This morning I had to toss away a Stuka because of a painting problem and the repairs did not make it any nicer. Bit annoyed right now.

@ Myhobbyroom
Thanks for the compliments. Yeah it was indeed a shame. But a few weeks ago I won an L1500 through Facebook from Miniart which will replace it neatly in the near future.
