I can dust my helicopter model and models with antennas sticking out and delicate parts and it doesn't even mess with them but the dust is gone racks of paint tubes and bottles? No problemo

Well, Rob, ya know,,,..............you did unzip your fly in public, and what kinda Bros would we be if we didn't raz ya a bit, Brother. It's called a "man hug", and it only happens if we like ya, so settle down youngin, you're among friends, HA!

I was laughing so hard at the replies I had to go tell my lovely bride. She laughed louder, cause she will never venture into my bunker to clean it, never. She knows there a few years of dust in there somewhere, HA!

Now, about that Swiffer. Great idea, IMHO. I do vac the bunker after every dio completed. Hmmmm, let's see, the last time was 13yrs ago,...........ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Just kiddin. Personally, for me, the most hazardous location to clean and Swiffer dust would be "inside" the curio cabinet.

Ok, back to work, Swifftee!:p

I use those too, they are great time savers. I crank up the ab and use it as a duster on the actual models. Son fantásticos y no problema.

Nice, if I had an airbrush, absolutely!

When I started posting pics, I noticed how much dust I had been painting over. So I got me some of these, 'Stedi Model Cleaning Brush Kit' on Amazoony, just for dusting work in progress...

And my mini keyboard vac can be run in reverse as a blower... not so fine as AB, but better than risking a blob of condensate from a compressed air rattlecan.

I've also been thinking about using a 'retired' LP electrostatic brush for some surfaces, but those bristles are pretty short...

Similar function to an anti-static brush?

Managing dust is just as important with an airbrush, and since you yourself are spraying air all over, maybe more so. This is something I need to improve myself, also cat hair, particularly the tiny ones that are almost lighter-than-air.

Using the Swiffer is a great idea! To delay and lessen the amount of dusting I have to do I purchased a small electric air filter for my display room that I run at night, twice weekly for, two hours on high speed. The square footage is not very large so it doesn't take a lot of runtime to get the job done. I paid less than $50 for it through Amazon if I remember correctly. It has reduced the amount of dust by well over 50%! Well worth the cost.
