Hi Guys

Been doing other projects and not had chance to do a dio for weeks so I thought I would share my latest project, Bronco's Humber scout car which I will be placing in a late war overgrown French framhouse.

The car itself has some incredible detail, the interior especially has every acceeory going, its a shame that most of it won't be seen once the lid is in place, but I will be leaving a lot of hatches open to show it off. The kit also has a complete engine but this will be closed. The fit of the kit is great, but the instructions seem to bear little resemblance to the actual building process, but I'm managing to work it out.

The building walls have been cut from insulation board and then the stones have been carved in, the brick floor has been made from foam board and there will be a tree growing through the floor which I have started making from wire.

Here's the pics so far

Hi again

Got a bit more done on this diorama, I finished the tree off with plaster over the wire and then painted it up and added some Mini natur aple tree foliage.

I then made the brick floor from foam board, painted it up and then fitted it around the tree as if the roots were pushing the bricks up. I also added some moss and some weathering powder to tone things down.

I painted up the scout car in and out and weathered it with oils and added some stowage

I have a bronco model waiting to be built. " Interesting point about instructions "
So far so good mate. Lookin real good :)

Thanks Guys

Bdr, if the instructions are anything like this kit then just keep your wits about you. As you progress through the diagrams pieces suddenly appear on them that weren't there before! I thought it was me missing steps out but it is actually the instructions. Really nicely detailed kits though once you get past the instructions

This one is all finished up now, I painted up the figures and then a little weathering on the car, but as I pictured this being in the summer I didn't want this one dripping in wet mud, heres the pics
