Yes. There will some details that you can't really spray-the dials on an instrument panel or a car's dashboard, for example.  Figures, if you paint them, though you can find some videos online, showing painting a figure using an airbrush. Though the painter doesn't do the facial details, like eyes, with the airbrush.
