Greetings from Nevada! I've been a modeler for about 15 years (give or take), and I generally enjoy modeling military aircraft and 1/35 armor/figures. However, my quirks include my expanding 1/72 helicopter collection, my desire to model Nevada's aviation history, and my affinity for models related to unpopular conflicts around the world (especially in South America).

Currently, I am working on many projects including as follows:

• 1/48 P-61 Black Widow ("Tennessee Ridge Runner") + 1/48 V-1 Flying Bomb (such as it shot down)
• 1/35 Whippet tank + Devo hat (crafted for the display of "Whippet Good")
• 1/72 A700 Adam Jet

Optional summer projects include:

• 1/72 SH-3D Sea King (Bicentennial)
• 1/72 Chickasaw
• 1/72 Hind (Nicaragua/Sandinistas)

Happy to be here, Tim! And I'm also honored to hear that you've closely followed my work! I love the joy of discovery from fruitful investigations, and I find modeling is really another great avenue for sleuthing, too!

Thank you! Reno's great, and they definitely still have Hot August Nights every year. That's always a fun event to attend; I only wish I had a classic car of my own to cruise around. I'm hoping, though, that the GSR doesn't eventually steal HAN's thunder with the new car show ("Street Heat") they're gonna be launching this August. I also miss the Reno Air Races, but they recently moved to Roswell after essentially getting pushed out by the city on account of development.

Oh, yes, thats right the air races, we'd go watch those too. I'd forgotten all about them, its a shame they've been pushed out, but not a surprise.

Interestingly, the Meadowood mall lives on—not the most busy spot, but still a got quite a few stores inside and a decent food court.
